Wetlands, once prevalent in our area, have become increasingly scarce with the passage of time. Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Dave Woehr will talk about this interesting ecosystem which has become recognized as a vital part of our landscape needing our respect, protection and restoration. Learn why this kind of habitat is important to wildlife, water quality and much more.

About the Presenter:
Dave Woehr is a life-long nature enthusiast from Lebanon, Ohio. An Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist since 2009, Dave has been an active supporter of nature programs throughout the region. He has contributed articles for three years to the Lebanon Local newspaper’s “Nature Close to Home” column, provides in-school programs, and helps educate the public through a variety of outdoor demonstrations and hikes.
