Nature Tidbit Series: American Deer

Join Ohio Certified Naturalist Dave Woehr for a look at local wildlife! Focusing on the white-tail deer population, including a look at characteristics, habitat, diet, vocalization, and more, this 30 minute presentation will cover topics ranging from history and lore to the Ohio Population and deer interaction with humans. Participants will have the chance to share stories and ask questions about this ubiquitous species.

Included with regular admission; FREE for members.

About the Presenter:
Dave Woehr is a life-long nature enthusiast from Lebanon, Ohio. An Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist since 2009, Dave has been an active supporter of nature programs throughout the region. He has contributed articles for three years to the Lebanon Local newspaper’s “Nature Close to Home” column, provides in-school programs, and helps educate the public through a variety of outdoor demonstrations and hikes.
